Absolutely! Even without cardreader attached. And that's better for the cooling . Runs for days now, errorless.

And now it starts threatening me that nothing goes to the original company. On the other hand, the original ones come from China too. Only difference is the left or right fabric..

I really dont know how much other HD solo clones cost but i can say that this little box really worth for that price. And the best part is that it can drive the signal through HDMI and RCA simultaneously which is really great if you want to use a RF modulator to share the channels in other TVs though the house! As far as i know even DM800 cant do that!

Does anyone know what version of openpli this box comes with? I have installed a new fan as they are bloody hot buggers without anything cooling the unit down and would never leave the box unattended. I have latestest version of openpli on and have major freezing problems, i have tried removing hdmi cech and also disabling hdmi cech and still no good, freezing on alll FTA channels and alll plugins after about 30 mins-60mins. I would advise anyone who is thinking of buying one of these boxes, to make sure you have a smalll 12v fan at hand and remove the card server slot as thiss greatly improves ventilation. The main reason i bought it was for the plugin side of things as this is growing nicely on a week to week basis.

3 of these boxes i put a fan in are running perfectly. However there was one i had no fan in and its now a brick. It only has a red light and is unresponsive to usb or rs232.
The cause of this can only be because of heat buildup.
My advice is DO NOT RUN WITHOUT A FAN!

Thanks for the info about the fan, bought this receiver over the weekend an was just about to set it up but will now wait until I have a fan installed.

I've had a genuine v+ duo for a couple of years now an was looking at something for the bedroom and this box seemed to fit the bill for running enigma 2.

The only question I have is will this box run genuine enigma 2 images like vix or do I need the one's for clone boxes like Ferrari?

Also for those enquiring where they can be bought, I got mine from fleabay for ?75 plus a tenner p & p

they take original images i would suggest a read of the Vu Duo/Solo clone section as this will give you a little more insight into the clone solo on which this box is based

If they are anything like the clone Solo's then as earlier an image you can find something like Blackhole 1,7.2 or an early Vix 2.4 image

Mine came with openpli 2.1 installed

I've added a fan and it's been on now for around 2 hrs without a problem (touchwood).

I'm about to install vix though because I prefer it, I'll let you's know how I get on
