Hi, its all about testing it and finding out how stable it is , on normal standby fan still runs and no idea if its using less power ? yes can put on deep standby but then needs to boot up again

Openpli 3.0 seems stable ran for 3 days no issues with all plugins etc loaded out, vix 3.0 seems to last around a day, anyone know why this would be ? vix uses more power to run ?

The custom image that I use is OpenPli3, been running for weeks without issue or lockup, that's a v1 box with a custom fan fitted and the card reader removed. The image is regularly updated from the OpenPLi feeds as are the plugins.

The latest vix slows it right down, im getting an hour or so before it comes to a stand still.

Got a couple of these that are freezing irrespective of image, as soon as cccam starts running, they lock up.

Newer models as well, heat sink and fan, card reader out and flap removed.

Looks like its pot luck as to whether you get a decent unit or not.

See my previous post, had a couple of boxes for testing a few weeks back, they were spot on, got another two and theyre running like crap.

I have had my open box s6000hd for about 6 weeks now and the first image I used was black hole 2.0.3 hyperspace I updated to black hole 2.0.4 when it was released and it runs perfectly no freezing at all when I got the box I tried running it with the card reader unplugged but it froze after an hour so I plugged it back in and there was no freezing I tried a fan on the heat sink but that was noisy so I am now running the box as standard and it is running fine OK it gets hot mine Is on 24/7 I will maybe try another fan sometime I got my box for ?75 delivered in the uk from satellite doctor you will find him on Google for the money it is a cracking wee box

These boxes are far too random, ive had the latest vix freeze after an hour or so on with a larger replacment fan attached amd card reader removed, then attach the card reader works fine for hours, move to another room and lockup after an hour or so.

Same with openpli, but that seems to run better with the card reader removed.

All boxes have came from the same supplier, so that shouldnt be the issue, shame cos theyve got cracking potential to be great wee boxes.

Hi, your right, vix 3.0 seems to run ok for a day then if you do something, could get the vix logo loading and hardly moving so need to pull plug, with openpli 3.0 seems to run fine, also have all plugins loaded, full epg , picons etc no issues, vix 3.0 must use more power to run

last wednesday i received this receiver from China.
I ordered one at ************for 101 $, i have waited for only one week after payment.
Today i have flashed the latest Blackhole image 2.04 for the vusolo, I inserted the usb in port 1 and all went the same like flashing a vusolo.
During flash the box have a red light, when ready the light flashes and change to blue.
I have opened the cardreader door so the heat can go out and i have put the box vertical.
I have installed CCcam 2.1.4, everything turns out well
There is a Canal Digitaal card inserted in teh camreader. Till now i have good experience with the ibox.
It is not as fast as the vu solo but it works real good for the price.
For now i will let it run for a week and keep looking at performance and functionality.
I will report if there will be problems, for now i am statisfied.

been running OpenPli 3.0 for 4 days now not a single issue, vix 3.0 seems to last a day then struggle and get icon loading , with no option to pull plug, i really like vix 3.0 interface, why you guyz think vix 3.0 dont work and openpli 3.0 does as i have mostly got same plugins on both

Just got one of these boxes and it doesn't go past the loading screen? It's running black hole image. Can someone help??
