I'm using blackhole 2.0.4 image with blackhole 2.3.0 cam box is very cool no overheating problems whatsoever.All the usual plugins tsmedia etc are running great.So for ?60 from china i've no complaints at all.

I wanted to put a 60 x 60 12v fan where the card reader
Is, but I'm not to sure which fan to put in,
The orginal fan is 12v - 0.08A
Can I put a fan with more current or less?
I've seen a fan with 12v - 0.07A
and another one with 12v - 0.13A
Will these be ok to use with the 2 pin connector
On the mainboard?

Might be safer just to plug in one of those usb laptop coolers & stick it underneath.

to remove card reader safely (no freeze software) conect pin 5 and 6 ( numbering from any ditch 10-pin edge)motherboard card reader conector with a HDD jumper, CLOUD IBOX work no freeze only with fan to a chipset cooler best image no freeze and stable is OPENAAF(OPEN ATV) Ver 20130812 not new because new image interrogate MAC and black screen

after instal the image download ccam (inside software conect to server and install) after instal ok and install c lines conect with ftp and instal in folder usr/keys/ccam.cfg

hello

Is there a way to disable the fan when in stand-by?
I got it as a cheap second box for the bedroom but i can not tolerate the fan noise in the night.
I am running openpli 3.0, tried installing the fan control plugin but it says "box has no fan-control hardware"
Is there an image that has fan control?
i know i could just turn it off in the night but id rather not for various reasons.

i would seriously appreciate your help on this one

Cloud not have hardware fan control .....
you have this option

1. Put the OLD gsm phone charger 5v to move the fan and the speed is slow
2.Use the function --deep standby--- (image OPEN AAF) to stop total the cloud with remote...
3.use the fan with automatic speed control with heating (with NTC sensor inside)

I tried to install a Blackhole image (and then OpenVix, and then OpenPli...)....

All I end up with is a blank screen!!!

Try using images that were built before the middle of August 2013.
Blackhole 2.05 works, 2.06 does not work.
