cause it's an addon. To confirm if you have it press "8281"
while watching a channel then put in your pin if you did not change this in your setting it's "0000" if you don't remember
    try "2011"

depend on the router and broadband provider
some users say they get better results with static.
my tm's have been working fine for years with dynamic

Hi. I am curious to know which add on file you are refering to. If you are referring to the softcam keys file you will find in your CAS menu where the keys are stored. If you are talking about the patch you will see the latest version in SYSTEM INFORMATION menu under s/w version. This applies to TM receivers.

we are talking about the addon file for c.s.
to get the secret menu "8281" to put in c/n lines
and latest softcams you would get here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f120/
and latest patches for any model you would get here http://download.for-better.biz/bbs/main.php
just click on the model/series you own and the latest patches for you will pop up

i don't think it has the lanport does it ?
it would be sssp then with a sharing pack on the computer and null modem lead very outdated

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Theres no lanport on my TM5400 but its got sssp somewhere in the menu but what it does i dont have a clue. Is this sssp any good for anything or is it just for show? Any advice much appreciated.
