TM Softcam updates

New to this (although I have used the softcam keys before) so a couple of questions:
1. Is 6th October the latest patch
2. How often are the keys updated?
3. Does anyone have any info on the TM Softcam editor/ converter? Seen it on digital-kaos elsewhere but with not much info
