    Yes I know m8, i thought the guy was using a Vu+ Duo ?
    Ok m8, best to do a factory reset, then use an FTP prog to transfer across the bouquets , thats what worked for me, usually I can do it via my Imac but didnt want to play ball with the solo.

            right ive just installed vix 2.4 build 1.5.1 and run the same tests on 57east, 21east and 3east and the readings are exactly the same as with blackhole 1.7.3... ive come to the the conclusion that the tuners are below par on a high spec linux reciever, regards mdt

                      There is no such thing as auto updates on ViX or any other image for that matter.

                          Have a look on your Vu, go to settings --- network----adapter settings, see what ip address it has now, easy !

                              Go into router settings m8 and assign the Vu its own IP address, that way you know what address it is all the time :-)
