How to JTAG a DM500

Hello,
I have Echosmart 500s witch is DM500s clone.i made jtag, all ok.I write with jtagdos software, alps tuner, but it doesn't start.I have green led but with dreamup i can't connect.i try all versions of dreamup.Can anybody help me ? Thanks

Hi guys , I think I had a bad flash, my clone dm500s keeps looping during startup, does this mean I have to pull it apart and soldier wires etc to get it back up running ??? Thanks in advance for any help.

I think you have a problem with the flash itself.
Change the flash and your problem is solved.

There is a possibility of getting the same points elsewhere.
Pick up the diagram from the dm500 and you'll find it easily.

Hi.

I have a DM500S clone.
I tried to jtag it with the dos program, but it says Flash info: INTEL Unknown, and stops at Erase Flash....done

I have tried it with the windows version, the connection is ok,
when i click Write, it writes 100% successfully.
In the End it says Finished Ok.
I close the program, shut down the dm500 power supply.
Connect it with my television, power on the dm500, and nothing happens. Dreamup can't see it also.
Can you help me what am i doing wrong?

I have created a bin file with the mac generator, renamed it to blimg, and overwrite it with the original in my directory.
The tuner is alps.

I used "Hirens bootcd" to boot my vista machine in windows xp the i flashed the dm500 with jtagdm500.exe in the commandbox.
The dreambox is alive again works great.

Hi i have a problem whit jtag comunication due LPT cable. Dream Flash say:
ERROR: comunication with LPT/JTAG. (twice or triple).

Have someone this problem??? THX
