I'm thinking of flashing my 800c-ii box with c-iv firmware which has been fixed to support EPG. I believe this should enable and fix the EPG on c-ii... hahah

I 'hope' so. I think the major differences between c-ii and c-iv are the addition of an extra tuner and they fixed the FW to resolve Chinese lang and EPG. The gui interface is pretty much still the same and i believe they are still using the same 'cheap' components in earlier models.

The FY factories don't release FW upgrades to public when they fix any bugs, they likely 'repackage' the fixes as upgraded boxes and sell it off as c-iii.. c-iv... c-'v'... c-'x' etc.

So I have a strong feeling the c-iv FW will run on c-ii or even c-iii boxes. But if only the experts here can help confirm and someone is able to provide the FW. =)

I also cannot find ESPN channel.
How do you search 394000Mhz?
I went to manuel search and key in 394 and press ok still wont detect ESPN, feel kana cheated
