Some answer may work for your box

Doesn't Work For Mhd 600C. Don't Think It Will Work For Newer Versions Of Fyhd either. The Main Issue Is That The Set Top Boxes Just Won't Receive 135 Or 135.5GHz. Not Sure If A Firmware Update Can Solve This Issue. Or Is It A Hardware Limitation. AnyOne Can Advise?

        Hi DBTraitor,

i followed ur link and is the same link as suggested by dreamyeyes.. i tried the image and it works for TNHD 888

just fyi for other TNHD 888 users.. the image for the white FYHD works for TNHD 888 too.. except it can only scan 229, 230 and 231.

I am receiving alot of distortions though. Anyone else facing similar distortion issues and how to solve it?

I thought it would be good to share here how I manage to get all the new channels here since I've got PM asking me on how I do it.
          1) Make sure you have the latest FW ( file should be FY.AP), not those on pg 7 here.
          2) select Menu/ Channel search / Manual search.
          3) At Frequency(MHZ) select 128 / 136 / 149 (do one frequency at a time) and Symbol at 6090
          4) Before you press ok to search,WAIT for the Quality bar below for signal strength first. If no signal shown, pressing ok will not get you any new channel. (It may take around 5-30 sec before you see the Quality bar showing signal and it may take a few try before you get it.)

Channel 101 to 106 will be shown and 107/108 will be shown as unknownChl
Remember all the new channels will be situated at the back and will not be in correct order. I just save them as FAV for easy access. Hope it helps.

I'm using the MHD 600C which apparently is the latest White variant of the FYHD800 series. Managed to receive all channels including 229, 230 and 231. Channels 232 and 233 are stored in the 1000+ channel numbers. From the posts I've Read So Far, it is evident that the newer series FYHD STBs are unable to receive channels 226 to 228. This is because the STB is Unable to pick up any signals from freq 135 and 135.5GHz. Even the whole spectrum from 130 to 140GHz has zero signal strength!

I'm not sure if this can be solved through a firmware update or it's a H/W limitation of the STB. Any kind souls can advise on this?

Hi, newbie here. I am getting pixelated and sometimes no image on these channels (Travel Channel HD, GINX HD, iConcerts HD, Fox Family Movies HD, CinemaWorld HD, Sky News HD & channel M HD) on my FYHD800C. These 7 channels were picked up on auto-scan at 482MHz, Sym6875, 256QAM.

Would appreciate if some master can advise on this. Thank you in advance.
