      @elhefe

      try setting the cam to common interface then use tuxbox commander to start newcs first then mgcamd (var/bin OK on newcs then red button OK) that way you will see how far your getting.

                  so looking at the config in newcs does everything look ok?
                  see im not quite convinced my boxkeys are correct. does this look like it might be the problem. the dude who done the extraction actually sent me 2 boxkeys as he wasnt sure which set of keys to try. the box doesnt have an rsa key as its quite old so i cant see what much else cann be wrong to read the n3 card any advise will be greatly appericated.

                    Did he send you a dump file or just 2 boxkeys ?
                    From what i have learned you get the RSA key from the UPC Nagra3 card. Did you send the box & card to him ? also was it to that Polish Site ? From what I have read he claims to be able to extract the RSA key by dumping from the box.

                      i emailed him the day before and he replied back with the dump. he says there is no boxkey its a really old sagem and he told me it doesnt have an rsa key so if it doesnt have a rsa key why do i need one also.

                      yes its that polish guy alrite i need to get the dump to someone to confirm that the boxkey is correct been kinda busy this week helping a friend out with so flooding probs here in the city centre but getting back to normal
                      box has arrived home and the good lady has retaken her place in front of the tv so getting time to do this work is v limited so im open to suggestions as to what is the best course of action.

                              rsa

                              Is the receiver rsa stored in flash memory or TSOP

                                Guys I run a N3 polsat card on my linux pc.

                                Can I just let you know that CCcam will not clear nagra 3 if you use a N line to newcs.

                                You have to use mpcs in between.

                                Better still use newcs_1.67 to read card then use mgcamd_1.31 to decode.

                                Cheers
