Can anyone tell me how to remove the EPG Filter in C10, it’s driving me crazy – I much prefer the EPG the way it’s always been.
I strongly feel that C10 should not have included the EPG Filter in their release, it’s only good for people who have the time to edit the file after EVERY channel scan.Comment

Renwich, started reading it again carefully once other people noticed the Now and Next EPG problem. I have replaced the sectionsd file as your post directed (changed chmodd to 755 and rebooted etc), waited for 30 mins, however still only getting the Now and Next on the EPG.Last edited by Hexen-NI; 10 December, 2008, 01:10.Comment

hi and thanks
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this image (and others for that matter)!
I unfortunately now live in a non-cable area (hence my rare visits to these forums nowadays) but i have friends and family who are using dbox's so i'll give it a go when i get a chance. just uploaded \/irgin image on my mates box but its a Sagem and is playing up so ill see if this image is better for his box...
If anyone wants help in Leicester area just gimme a PM (might not respond straight away but i'm happy to help where i can)
Cheers boys, keep up the good work and MERRY CRIMBO to all!Comment

Because gbox has never gone 'open-source' as have evocamd and mgcamd, it has always been Team-Commando policy NOT to include support for it in any shape or form, sorry.I've just put commando 10 on my box. I backed up my key and emu folders and my bouquet and service files first, and put them all back after the new image was flashed.
On my old image I was using Gbox, as I have a Sagem box that doesn't like evocam etc.
I have now got everything working on evocam, apart from chirping and freezing problems, and I can't seem so get a picture when I select Gbox.
Could anyone give me any clues how I can get Gbox working with this image?
This policy has been even more rigidly enforced now that gbox can no longer AU, so needs auto key-copy scripting to get it working properly...
But I know there are many peeps out there whose boxes will only run stable on gbox, so I've come up with an unofficial 'dirty patch' using stuff nicked from my \/irgin+2.1 image, and which is dead easy to pop into Commando 10.
The miniops file goes into /bin (not /var/bin), overwriting existing. Check it stays as chmod 755 - (it should do).
shellexec.conf lives in /var/tuxbox/config - and again, you overwrite existing.
From other sources, you'll need to pop camd2 and gbox into /var/bin/emu and chmod 755 both of them, or it won't work!
Last but not least, you'll need gbox_cfg in /var/keys - and this must be the non-AU version included in my rar file.
Destructions:
1. With evocamd running with up to date keys-
2. Press Blue > Blue > Blue- 'Smart Switch to Gbox
3. Congratulations! You're now on gbox!
Trouble is, I can't get this working 'on the fly' as I have with \/+2.1 - it freezes the picture, and won't clear even with a channel Up-Dn. So the answer is to reboot after changing to gbox- when all will be well. Sorry about that- it's probably conflicting with something Renny has done with his new Softcam Menu. (But I will look further into this!)
Later, if the keys roll and you find yourself FTA only, go Blue > Red and start evocamd. After AU- repeat items 2) and 3) above.

Commando 10 and IDE drivers
Does this latest image come with all the necessary IDE drivers for those of us with installed HDD?Comment
-
If you're including XFS support in your "all necessary IDE drivers" query- no. But I have this as a seperate tarball that the IDE-HDD menu will recognize and install for you- then the XFS stuff will appear in the same menu. Shout if you need it.
It might need some testing and feedback, though- as it's all been put together 'theoretically' as it were. Unlike yourself, everyone in Team-Commando is too poor to have IDE-HDD installed...
In fact, some of 'em are so poor, they don't even have a dbox, LOL!
Cheers- AL
