Thanks for the time and effort in putting up a guide to get Gbox running.
I have a problem though. I've got the Gbox file from my previous image but not camd2.
Please could you point me in the right direction as to where I could find it.

camd2 is a 'generic' file found in most images, even those from Germany. It normally lives in /bin (but also check /bin/emu - /var/bin & /var/bin/emu)
It's usually 11 or 12kb in size. I've done more testing to try and avoid the need for a reboot, but no joy so far. It has me baffled... Cheers- AL
If you're including XFS support in your "all necessary IDE drivers" query- no. But I have this as a seperate tarball that the IDE-HDD menu will recognize and install for you- then the XFS stuff will appear in the same menu. Shout if you need it.
It might need some testing and feedback, though- as it's all been put together 'theoretically' as it were. Unlike yourself, everyone in Team-Commando is too poor to have IDE-HDD installed...
In fact, some of 'em are so poor, they don't even have a dbox, LOL!
Cheers- AL
Sure be willing to give it a try. I have Commando v8.25 working with IDE +XFS and haven't needed to install any IDE drivers manually as yet so may need some assistance to do this for Commando v10, but if you have the time then I'd be more than willing to feedback my findings...and possible enhancements to the functionality.

The Image does support ide by default, but most of the ide bits were taken out after the compile to save space and there will be an addon pack available soon
Gbox will not work on any UK cable image. Gbox doesn't use the normal nagra files that the other emu use, Gbox has it's own roms build into the binary. Since we've needed to upgrade the nagra files we use, coupled with the fact that the Gbox team no longer support it, you can't use Gbox.
Some images have an Evocamd -> Gbox script that copies the keys from the Keylist.txt file and puts them in the nagra file so that you can now use Gbox but it will never auto update unless the binary is updated.

Keep trying m8, I'm sure you would feel better if you got it running yourself and would learn for future problems. Keep reading, it is easy really.
For teletext, look for tuxtxt plugins....

OK- someone has already covered this, but here's the notes I added to the original release thread elsewhere; it should make things easier for you, and if you think about it, it's a much better way of doing it!

FreddyFrog's new 7 Day EPG
I'm glad to see that T-C have implemented Freddy's revised version in style!
What's new?
Default EPG across the board is now restricted to Now 'n Next only
T-C have kindly made the correct EPG setup for you
and daily overnight Timers (Blue > Yellow to view/edit these) to refresh
and included Help Text in /var/tuxbox/config/zapit/epgfilter.xml
Freddy has now changed the method by which the epgfilter.xml file functions. You now add the 100 (ish) channels in there that you DO want 7 Day Epg for, rather than the 200 (ish) channels that you don't! 10 minute copy 'n paste jobbie from your bouquets.xml file...
I've tested this today- and it loads the FULL 7 days in 5-6 minutes, compared to 20+ mins with the previous version. Wicked! You just switch to the PVR_EPG channel to suck the data in- eazy peazy!
Well done Freddy- and to T-C for being the first to use this great feature!
Cheers- AL
Al, I have just gone through and set this up for the first time. I remember you pointing the old way out to me before but i never got round to setting it up so i have had a go this time. Can you (or anyone) clarify something for me, when i switch to pvr_epg should i get something on the screen? Mine just shows "channel not available", done a fresh scan and it still happens. Is this normal as its not an actual tv channel?
