Hello - ok I have sorted out the matrix problem now I have two different problems.
1) The TV I have will not allow me to manually scan DVB-C channels and when I do a scan with my netid, it does not pick up all channels (including BBC HD).
2) On the HD channels it does pick up, there is no sound. Looking at the information menu, it comes up as "English Dolby Digital". Is there any way of decoding this audio channel ?
ThanksComment

Hi, having the same problem as willow, HD channels don't have any sound? HD channels are broadcast in dolby digital+ which my tv supports! I'm using a samsung le32b530 with joker cam on 0.80 firmware. Funny thing is that BBC HD sound is fine?? Anyone got any clues how to get sound on other HD channels?Comment

Samsung B650
Hi, I have a samsung B650 which picks up the FTA cable channels fine (good picture!). I have purchased a Matrix Reloaded CAM which the TV see. But I'm a little lost as to what to do now. It seems to be running 1.080 firmware. I can access the card via the CI option on the TV. I've entered the nag codes for my area but it doesn't seem to save them. exiting the CI menu and going back in, th codes have reset to original. I've read somewhere that the boxkey has to be entered. Mine already comes up with a hex code, how do I know that is correct? Any help appreciatedComment

I've just brought a Sony Bravia KDL-40EX403 that has a DVB-C tuner built.
Just wondered where we stand on the whole viability of cable through the Bravia's now, I don't quite understand as I'm new to this but I've read N3 is currently unhacked, i don't know if N2 is still in various areas or N3 is nationwide. I'm in the Nottingham NTL area if it helps.
I haven't been able to test a digital tuning as I'm still waiting for the Female/Male adaptor to arrive. I've got a funcard arriving but haven't found a suitable cam and cas 3 interface yet.
Thought I'd double check before spending more money!
Thanks

in uk it is n3 and the analogue service is been phased out and changed over to digital only, hope you have a dvb/t tuner or it will be useless.

MarkNot strictly true. The DVB-C tuner should still give you access to the unscrambled channels.in uk it is n3 and the analogue service is been phased out and changed over to digital only, hope you have a dvb/t tuner or it will be useless.

The female/male adapter came today, plugged it in, auto tuned it to my local NetID, found 401 channels. I haven't checked all the channels, but most seem encrypted. Not strictly true. The DVB-C tuner should still give you access to the unscrambled channels.
The BBC channels are avaible.
C4, E4 are available.
ITV, ITV2+1, ITV3 & ITV4 are.
Five is, not sure about Fiver and Five US
Pretty sure I had Universal on, but wasn't available tonight.
So I guess the best bet is to hold off on the CAM and CAS3 interface until N3 is (if) cracked, unless anyone has any experience of being able to get any more channels than the ones above using a CAM and Fun?
I really do hate the V-Box, if it crashes one more time!! (Already on our third box in in 6 months) If I can turn it off I will, if I weren't stuck in a contract until August I'd take the box to VM HQ and slam the damn useless piece of junk into the ground infront of the CEO. Not to mention slap the douche who decided it was a good idea to sell Living, Bravo and Virgin1 (Ch One) to Sky without some kind of safeguard to prevent Sky closing them and then introducing a new channel, e.g. Sky Atlantic for Sky customers only, very smart by Sky but unfair to VM and Freeview users.Comment
