I pay ?65 for 10mb broadband,XL phone,XL tv with free ESPN included, and all Sky sports channels,the on demand music is free with this package also.I was paying ?33 for broadband and XL phone,so am just paying an extra ?32 for all the channels [except the movie channels] plus free HD.

My contract has expired with VM and I called them up today for a better deal for BB & phone.
They seem to be giving betted deals to new customers, so I gave them notice to cancelle all my services and they've just told me if I cancelle my services, then I cannot re-connect to their services again for a minimum of three months.
Can any one else confirm this or is it a load of bull!

The best deal they are offering is:
50mb BB
Free M+ TV package(standard box)
M phone

all for ?39.99 pm. + (one off ?35.00 50mb install fee)

Edit* just made another call to VM and managed to get the ?35.00 install and ?20.00 50mb BB activation fee cancelled

I cancelled last year, mrs changed her mind.
She rang up and they quoted price ?8 more.
I rang, got box sent out next day courier service, same price as before.
Probably was off for 6 weeks prior to reconnecting.
I pay ?29.50 for 10mb bb and m package. No phone line as I don't need one.

As well as the above vermin sent me a nice "thank you for being a loyal customer" card today and now I can phone vermin mobiles for nothing off my land line, handy as me and the missus are on there mobile network as are most my family...chuck

vermin getting worse

ok as you can see from my posts on here i got a great deal off vermin .
checked e-billing last night and found that they were about to take ?169 from my account. rang them at lunch time today.got kick from one department to the next till got handed back to there retenshions department .
nice guy there could not work out how come the cost i had been quoted could be correct , then he found it and its a sky match cost.
after 10 mins he put it all right (THANKS TO HIM) .
and as i was after a second box in my bed room was going to use the old one and i had asked for a second card that was on the ebilling but not been sent .
Vermin are sending an enginner round to install a second V+ hd box free of charge in my bed room . so as we stand now

second V+ hd box F.O.C
all channels up stairs ?5.50

well if you do mate make sure with vemin they try to charge you ?25 quick install fee , this is they send you a V+ box and you set it up and then ring them to pair the smart card .

or ?35 pound to send an enginner

got both quashed by insisting its to exspensive and as i am paying for the first V+ box they could wave any other charges .

all i will say to all is be very polite and lots of thank yous seem to go a long way .

just got xl tv, large broadband free because i'm doing a upgrade & a landline with 6 months free landline calls & upstairs card for my old box (worth ?5 a month) for ?51 a month also ?35 1 off fee to get installation & new hd box

Whatever way we look at it, virgin deals don't come anywhere close to matching the 1/2 price Sky for a year offer.

Imho, if u like HD tv then Sky is the way to go. Almost 40 HD channels -- it's the dogs.

If not then virgin is well good -- and with virgin adding new HD channels all the time then it's a good place to be, especially after the ruling on price drops for footie.

just gave 30 days notice with vm as they offered me 50 meg xl tv and med telephone for ?70

i did this last year and retentions rang me up within 14 days to keep me i got the above package for ?65 now its gone up

i will have to wait
i have sky half price had it in 3 months ago but really just wanted vm 50 meg so lets see what they will do
