Just purchased Starview 5 Box. I cannot get premium channlels. Is there a fix for this problems. Help would be appreciated

try menu, 1570,check keycode is on,press default, then exit to slyspts .

I've tried the procedures many times but still cannot access the channels with $ sign. Any other option m8?

All you need to do is factory reset the box first, install the firmware, then menu 1570 and turn key to on. Then scan for channels, wait 2 mins while it download the new encryptions and off ya go

Hi Guys, I'm a little new to this but just picked up on your thread.... I have just bought a SV5 and I can't get it to work either! I'm not sure it's the same issues as described above. Basicly the box scans and gets the channels but dooes not allow me to do the 1570 bit. The software I think is version 2.4 but all the info I've seen on the net refers to 2.3, should I back patch the software to 2.3?


Any help on this would be good. Thanks. MAG2

Unfortunately, it is still not working even after I tried for 3 times. I just got blank screen for $-sign channels.

Double check key settings

Try checking you key settings again after scanning the channels ive found alot that it turns it off again after scanning for channels
