This was due to ...surprise surprise 200 rangers fans complaining they seen him do it.As also quoted....
A spokesman for the 39-year-old manager said: "These allegations are completely outrageous - with no substance whatsoever.

"There is a concerted campaign by malicious and despicable individuals to cause distress to Neil Lennon. Celtic Football Club and all Celtic fans stand by their manager in the face of these vicious and unacceptable attacks."

Rookie manager in 1st season, top of the league, Cup final, and cup quarter final defeating their biggest rivals in 4 out of the 6 games they've played only losing one, all and all a very decent record by Lennon !

Should add the 200 lip reading numpties should all be charged with wasting police time now that the Lie has been put to bed, Diouf himself issued a statement denying Neil Lennon used any form of Racist abuse, a very sad state of affairs when football is dragged to these depths because your team isn't good enough to defeat their rivals on the pitch.

the thing i was wondering about is where the altrecation took place i dont think there was any rangers fans in that area, so maybe the complaints came from something that was picked up on the telly although i dont recall hearing anything myself when i watched it.

I wouldn't begin to get involved in that nonsense re: the quality of the league, but it's suffice to say that the best managers in epl plied their trade in Scotland so your comment is meaningless twattle

No trophies have been decided yet but he's still in with a chance of winning silverware.

Abuses opposition players ? What evidence do you have of this ? Total fabrication !

Great Manager.....No ! But he has time on his side and could well be

Better than Mowbray....Yes even Walter Smith and his Anti football is better than Mowbray

                            he he...
he defo did abuse, don't take a lip reader to see that.

i think he will win trophies... ( as painfull as it is for me to admit..., he is a winner and has a winning mentality)

                            good manager???

                            not so sure,
more to managing than winning games,
                            winning respect is also important.....

edit, just seen your " maybe in time" sentance...

i think you could be right there.....

More to the point, the title of this thread should have focused on the evil threats against Neil Lennon, bomb and bullets posted to his home, and all for managing a football team. I feel personally that Rangers football club are a disgrace in that they haven't condemned the threats and shown Neil Lennon support, I also feel every football fan should be appalled that a football manger can be treated in such an appalling way. I would hope that if Ally McCoist was suffering similar, Celtic and their fans would support him wholeheartedly, I know I would regardless of my allegiance.
