Yet more grief down to religious hatred !!, catholic , protestant , islam ,etc , etc, glad i don't believe in any of it.
Most of the people who are prepared to maim and kill in the name of thier alledged "beliefs" believe in little else than hatred itself .
Comedian dave Allen had it right !

        No need to worry.
I should have made my point better nara, it's the TV that can't mention these incidents without involving Rangers FC

I make you totally right that these people just use football to jump on the back of.

The thing is as well what no one has mentioned, this hasn't come at a good time for Rangers, in that Uefa are looking into the singing - then this comes. Rightly or wrongly people/Uefa are maybe assuming it's a Rangers fan/fans. It may not be anything to do with Rangers fans at all, but it's some more mud at the minute which Rangers FC and all there decent supporters don't need.

Clubs can't do anything about individual idiots, but like I said in an earlier post they can do something about racist, sectarian and political singing at games - especially home games. Throw them out, take there season book away from them and ban them. If thousands are doing it (which we all know that there is) make an example of 20 or 30 per game. The message would get through sooner or later. I'm sure that would help in the long run.
I agree with you 100% mattybhoy that an example could be made of 20 or 30 a game m8. It's time Rangers acted on this as I do believe it would eventually make a difference.

I've admitted on other forums to being a 90 minute bigot (every time we play Celtic) but I usually end up meeting a couple of supporters from the Celtic contingent to have a pint and then travel home together. I believe the noise from the crowd can be ignored on these occasions as you're only interested in getting inside the heads of the other teams supporters.

To this day I travel on a lot of Celtic busses to watch them play, i just love the game and the passion.. From personal experience I can say that all the old songs are sung on the way to the games but I expect this as it's a CELTIC bus. Once inside the ground the songs do change, all credit to Celtic FC. It's inevitable that I usually get the odd bit of hassle when I don't join in the songs on the bus and get asked why I answer that I'm a Prod "throw the f****r off the bus" is one of the usual . I've always got more pals than enemies on the bus so I'm ok. I only ever get hassle from a very small minority and they're always the worse for drink (a Scottish problem) most are genuinely interested in why I'd be on a Celtic bus and fully accept my reasons once explained.

When I was a wee boy I went to a lot more Celtic games than Rangers. I came from a mixed family, Celtic were at the start of their 9 in a row and the blue side of the family didn't attend games (shame on them) so the only way I got to games was with the green side of the family.

When I was old enough to go myself I went to Ibrox but I also jumped at any chance to go on the Celtic bus if we were playing away. That's the way my life has always been although the supporters on the busses have changed many times over the years I'm still there.

All of this seems to have got well out of hand in recent years with bullets, bombs and kidnappings. Non of these things should be accepted in the name of football. I don't hate Celtic or Catholics and never will. How could I hate a team I've watched 100's of times or hate my family and friends?

I love my club and always will. I have family who will mention some great Rangers games then go on to say that they were there or that they were at the Ibrox disaster and on stairway 13 when I know for a fact that only one of them was at any of these games along with myself. I don't argue and put it down to them losing their memory with age .

All this has came at the worst possible time for Rangers FC as you say although there was never a good time for stuff like this.

I just hope and pray that we can get on with the football and that these people are caught and put whee they belong...

Neil Lennon has made a lot of enemies with his actions in the past just as some Rangers players have but this should never lead to the sh!te that's taken place recently.

That's enough from me so may the best team win on Sunday, hard luck Celtic ...

Racist chants and subtle Racist coments

This rubbish should stop how can you have black or foreign players in your team and abuse these players in another team. Until you sanction these players coaches managers extremely they will just continue

One major point everyone is missing. It's not just the Religious Bigotry that tarnishes the game. What about the massive increase in domestic violence from certain fans. That can't be put down to Religion, it's sadly just the mentality of some sub species of the human race and another reason why it will be impossible to change some fans actions.

Sadly I have to agree with you that its not just a football/ Religious Bigotry but an even lower form of life that has to go home and beat up the wife/ girlfriend. But that's an other issue sadly connected with this game. One I think will never be cured with an early kickoff just gives these SCUM all day to drink to pluck up the courage to go home and beat up the wife.......... Sadly the only answer would be a midweek game so these SCUM cant drink all night and day due to work but then again these lowlifes probably don't have jobs as they don't have the brains that work.

Best 0-0 draw I've seen in a while, fair result in my opinion.
