Well the Porto game was the actual final that year and dont get me started on them cheating diving C**Ts

We know the level in scotland is piss poor but look at the money we get compared to you lot.

If Celtic and Rangers got in to the prem they would be monsters.

But least us scots have won your big league tho. Something a English manager has done yet So the scottish league must install a winning mentality some where down the line

to be fair.. you turn out decent managers

If you left your league and came down here you would have to go into the Championship and be promoted fairly to the Premier League..

I think you're way off top 4 but you could easily be top 6

I, there is no way we could think about top 4 prob even top 6 in 1st season maybe season 2.

Problem is that you need to be top of your game week in week out and in our league you dont.

Thats why we struggle so much in europe.

TBH Id take the hit and start in League 2 and build up.

I know Ops and both Celtic and Rangers still get bigger gates than 5 times European Champions Liverpool, playing in the English 'Super, Super, Super' leauge!

how many can our ground hold compared to your big ??? a few years ago arsenal had gates of 38,000 at highbury.. now they get gates of 60,000..because its a "bigger" ground...thats why we need a bigger ground... and i bet ,%age wise anfield is fuller per season than ibrox or parkhead...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Anfield has not been sold out on a number of occasions this season - despite the fact that it only holds 44,000?

Being a Pool fan you'll be big on history (like we are), what's the Pools record attendance? around 62,000 is it? Compare that to both Celtic and Rangers. Ibrox's record is 118,000 (nearly double Liverpool's), Parkhead's is 92,000, but Celtic's is 134,000 for a home game (over double Liverpool's) played at Hampden, due to Parkhead not being big enough.

                    I don't think there's an argument.

Also re Arsenal. What they did for certain European games when they found that Highbury wasn't big enough is play elsewhere and got 73,000 plus.

between the two of you go polish your one European Cup... Big Clubs my arse

Like any minnow you raise your game when you play a big club... Crawley Town ran Man Utd close and Northampton knocked out Liverpool this year.. Doesn't make either of them Premier League material though

thats my point!!!! our record attendance was vs wolves, 61000 ish. ( woves record att is also 61,000 ish,vs us..) . our ground is smaller than yours so how can we get more in??? thats why arsenal changed homes. highbury was too small. so is anfield.. is ibrox or p/head full every game? doubt it... how many does hampden hold now???
the only original ground in england to hold more than its previous record attendance is them from stretford, just outside manchester. holds about 78000 now, but old record was less. all other grounds are now far lower..

There are certain people on here that look for any excuse to bring all this shite to the foreground at every opportunity and they all seem to be wearing green and white, bar one or 2 idiots on our side

FFS the establishment are against us, everybody's against us!!!!!, but the best I've ever heard is the DK mods and Admin are against us because some of them support Rangers. Do you know how pathetic that sounds, didums, Arh what a f*ckin shame!!!

Grow up. Support your own Team by all means but stop worrying about or commenting on the other side.

What are you scared of? you have a name for being paranoid and by ~~~~ you really are.

1st and last post on the subject.

Carry on with the pettiness without me or go and please take it elsewhere, and keep it off the forum, We don't need or want it here.

All it does is bring DK down for anybody else lookin in.
ally whether or not you like it dk has a sports section where we discuss sports football being one of the topics. the recent troubles between the old firm have made national news and thats why they are being discussed on here. if you cannot handle that i suggest you do not read any postings regarding the old firm or just stick to reading postings which interest you.
One of the things that makes this forum great is the fact that we can talk about anything on here not just sattelite and cable.

Thing is, how many fans do the BIG clubs in ENGLAND take abroad ? No were Near Celtic never mind Rangers. Take a look at Seville. Yes it was out 1st final since 1970. But tbh it wouldn't matter we would still take that amount. Celtic have always took a massive away support when going abroad.

Rangers like wise and you just need to look at their last final al be it just down the road but a lot none the less.

So, If Celtic or rangers got the the prem I guarantee they could both fill out 100'000 seater stadia no problem what so ever week in week out.

Our support is not at it's best at the minute in terms of gates, but could you imagine Liverpool getting 52,000 against Hamilton Accies? even if they had a half decent ground for once in there history... No.

If Celtic & Rangers were in the EPL the first thing they would do is extend the grounds. Liverpool have either been short sighted in not extending there ground or have not had the cause to do so.

they cant extend the bleeding ground.... surrounded by houses etc...thats why we wanted to build a new stadium ... grounds are all seated now, so even your big 2 are smaller than they were.just to put a finer point on it... notts forest have won the e/c twice... celtic have won it.. once???? attendances mean sweet fa...
you play each other 4 times in one season...is there another league in europe that does that?? be honest , without rangers and celtic, the scottish league would be no better than the welsh league...of the top of my head, i think both rangers and celtic have won your league more times than us,them, arsenal and everton combined...
