He's gone after that I reckon.. Whether you love him or hate him, the amount of sh*te he's had to put up with in the last 5 months is truly incredible and unparalleled in the world of football.

Yet another sad day/night for Scottish football, in a season where there has been many. Uefa will be watching like a hawk - like they should be.. Scottish football needs a radical change led by a new SFA who lead who lead by example.

5 months matty ? all his football time in scotland, the problem lies beyond football,as far as i`m concerned ,its the anti-catholic, anti-irish sectarianism that runs through the veins of scotland,an utter discrace.I think he will walk also, and the bigots will win.

I think they will hammer him mate.

Celtic fan was jailed for 3 months for abusing el grogo.

I think the Govt and Courts will try to show examples.

After that incident who would want the managers job at Celtic ? Time for the board at Celtic fc to look for alternatives to the SPL, as for Lenny I cannot see any reason for him to stay, he is clearly at risk from scumbags and at some point a knuckle dragger could succeed in harming him as the determination now seems to be clear.

Shameful, disgraceful and sadly not surprising. And more than likely to be swept under the carpet. The press are absolutely complicit in the vilification of Neil Lennon. Check the main picture on the back of today's Daily Star (I know,I know). It portrays Lennon as the aggressor and it is subtle manipulations like this that are adding fuel to the fire.

Please also never feed me the tired lie that bigotry is merely a west of Scotland problem.

although i totally agree the behaviour was disgusting, lennon has not been conducting himself vey well over the last few weeks, the mccooist incident, hands to the ears at ibrox, kicking the water bottle and his comments about hearts,if a manager in england had done these things i think the FA would have taken action.but i would like to say it is a disgrace with what happened to lennon.

I was totally disgusted to see the behaviour of a so called football fan attacking the manager of such a high ranking football club who has along with others been threaten, sent nail bomb and has himself and his family fearing for there lives.
It was unbelievable the speed at which the Police approached the man as he was being wrestled to the ground be Celtic officials.
It was good this morning to see that the Police had arrested 2 people in relation to the threats against Celtic staff.

Aye its a total disgrace. I was at the game.

Celtic fans chanting IRA songs. You can even hear it on the replay on sky sports. Wonder what fueled the young lad to do that to lennon.

Not condoning it though. He will get the jail no doubt about it.

                      it is ridiculous and pathetic

in england i find it hard to believe that in the 21st century this kind of religious bigotry goes on

it is ~~~~in loonacy it is medieval i dont even know a single person who actually goes to church or has any real faith at all its the greatest story ever told

yet the passion in scotland for catholics and protestants too hate each other is unreal and this celtic rangers thing is ridiculous

from what i can see it all stems from two religions that are almost exactly the same it is a disgrace

which reminds me i am just going to pop over the road and smack my neighbour right in his mouth because he thinks james and the giant peach is better than charlie and the chocolate factory

you might laugh but it amounts to the same thing

I agree 100%, Also how a manager or play acts after he scores a goal or after his team win or if a bad decision is made and the player or manager take it badly, that still doesn't give these so called fans to run on the pitch and hit someone, throw thing on the pitch send nail bombs send death threats or anything else, also it works both way ie the celtic fans singing IRA songs also a ~~~~ing disgrace, i am a FAN and a supporter and proud to call myself one, These people are not they are just criminals who say they are football fans and use football as an excuse, we need to push these people away from the beautiful game

                          Hi

Have seen this today and its disgusting and shocking. Theres no place for this in football. I know Lennons not been the flavour of the month but the attack and threats and bombs is just not on.

Wouldnt surprise me if he made a decision in the close season and walked away from football and just keep a low profile. Im sure his family will probably try to push him to this as their safety is at risk too.

The religious side of it is just an excuse, it's basically a tribal thing.
He who laughs last probably didn't get the joke.
