although i totally agree the behaviour was disgusting,lennon has not been conducting himself vey well over the last few weeks,the mccooist incident,hands to the ears at ibrox,kicking the water bottle and his comments about hearts,if a manager in england had done these things i think the FA would have taken action.but i would like to say it is a disgrace with what happened to lennon.

What a load of nonsense, its comments like these that the scumbag who carry out attacks use to justify their behaviour. Neil Lennon is in no way responsible for any of the attacks he has endured, from the death threats, bombs in the post, bullets in the post and the latest incident, Lennon is totally exempt from any responsibility that would attract such behaviour ! Your comments are shown to be wrong, given the bombs sent to Paul McBride QC and former Labour MSP Trish Godman When did they provoke the bigots ? Or Niall McGinn and Paddy McCourt bullets in the post what provocation did the incite to warrant such behaviour ? Until these idiots are condemned by everyone they will continue and drag the spl into obscurity, somehow excusing them because Lennon put his hands to his ears or kicked a water bottle is a downright disgrace !

Not as an excuse. Yes i did too hear the hearts fans singing racist bigotry songs. I for one was not one of them. In fact not far from me was someone shouting racist bigotry remarks for best part of the first half.

I go to watch football not shout at the opposing side fans which i noticed at least 1/4 of both sections doing last night. Prob missed half the game whilst doing this.

Im purely stating that if fans continue to shout this at any football ground they cant moan when incidents like this happen as its purely fueling an already roaring fire.

I love passion in the fans but i have a few mates (celtic fans) who have been stabbed in the street for wearing a celtic top.

Society needs to get a grip. Unfortunately there is always going to be a minority who spoil every occasion.

Why was there 7 people arrested the night before the game with Hearts armed with guns and hanging Loyalist flags on Celtics training ground ? You are making excuses in the above statement for the attacks on Lennon, I'm pointing out that none of these excuses are cause for the attacks, if you don't feel they are excuses why offer them in your opinion ?
