I can also remember Ruddock, McMahon, Souness, Hamaan etc trying to break legs, necks etc.
And of course recently Carragher trying to cut Nani in half.
What all this has to do with racism i dont where you're going with it.

Thing is Suarez has admitted calling Evra a "name" that is common place in a Country that seemingly doesnt have the same rules of prejudice as we have here.

The last thing Suarez would have wanted is Poyet voicing his opinions like that.. Its almost sounds like he's condoning racist name calling.

[QUOTE=flyingpig;1337433]That is all well and good on the face of it, but as you well know things happen on the football pitch that would be against the law of the land (Keane on Alfie Inge Halland) that are not punished. kick racism out of football campaign has nothing to with what you are saying its about RACISM so i think you have missed the point

These are all against the law of the land, but yet they happen on the football pitch -even though they shouldn't. It is as much wrong to refer to someone as a negro (and that is what is alleged - allegedly) as refer to the religious beliefs. Yet when games against Celtic or Rangers happen this goes on all over the pitch.

I do beleave the religious belief thing you are talking about is been addressed in scotland at the moment and celtic have just been fined these no place for that either in football but that has nothing to do with this case this is about colour of someones skin!! They are both disgusting ways to insult anyone

In South America it is common place to refer to someone as a Negro, I am not saying it is right, but I don't know what was said, neither do you. Also, and very most important is the context it was said in.

Calling anyone in this country the N word is not acceptable what ever context its said in and the context it was said in on that occasion was in a heated football match so it could only have been said in a agressive way!!

People in England are in danger of turning into supremicists. We have a go at other nationalities use of language (Luis Suarex incident)

I don't know if you are or not but if what he is alleged to have said to you and you were black and he said it in the heat of the moment would you take offence?? I think you would what ever nationality he is.

So what did he call him?? What does Evra alleged he has been called? But lets wait and see what it is - lets not judge someone when we don't know even a quarter of the facts.

Racism is wrong - I agree. And if it is a racist remark he deserves a ban.

Mate Suarez has already told the FA what he called him when he was interviewed by the FA he claimed he didn't know it was a racist word and didn't know it would offened people in this country!! The FA must think there is a case otherwise they wouldn't of charged him!!

No one know for sure what he called him, (bar Suarez and Evra) but by all accounts it was negro/negrino/negrito... As all these names are apparently common place in Uruguay.
Some say negrito translates as "mate or pal" others say it translates as "little black boy"
As you can imagine if he (suarez) said negrito meaning pal, and Evra took it up as "Little black boy".. then you have a problem.

The FA have frankly dug they're own grave on this one by charging him without any real evidence.

Now if they find him guilty which i doubt they will, then they will have to do the same if not more to Terry and with the Euros nxt year they dnt wna do anything that will effect England.

Pressure FIFA today criticising the FA for playing Terry in the friendly and Uruguay will be another country putting the boot in. No one likes the FA and England the only reason that Sepp Blatter is still incharge because the other nations hate England more then they do Blatter.

By the way be careful what you wish for people think Blatters bad, wait until Platini gets in the hotseat it's going to be even worse for England. Just look at all the rules he's brought in European football, he's another one who hates the fact that our teams do so well in Europe and we have the best league......
