All I can say is that its time for Fergie and Evra to have there say now, all that has been heard has come out of anfield.

I think he's had enough to say already.

      THE TRUTH
      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Personally...I don't think Fergie or Evra will say anything until it is over (pending appeal).

Probably not ever time Fergie opens his mouth he gets hit with a suspension.

let's get one thing clear. You don't have to be a racist to racially abuse someone. You can racially abuse with the intent to piss them off, rather than because you have any underlying dislike for a person of his race. Either way it's unacceptable

Let's take Ron Atkinson for example since he was mentioned earlier in the thread. He racially abused Marcel Desailly. No look at how many black players he used when he was a manager during the 80s and 90s, there's dozens of them, and this was at a time when there were few black people in the game. He's done a lot to help black footballers to make it in the game, so do you think one foolish comment makes him a racist? If he is/was a racist then why did he have so many black players?

I agree with you 100% BUT we all heard Big Ron saying it, there was clear unequivocal proof.

Liverpool manager has used Twitter to express his disappointment at the FA?s decision to ban Luis Suarez.
The Football Association handed Suarez an eight game ban in addition to a ?40,000 fine for misconduct, in relation to an incident involving Manchester United defender Patrice Evra when the sides met in October.
And following an official statement from the club which expressed surprise and disappointment at the decision to ban the Uruguayan, Dalglish has been quick to back his striker, as he has done throughout the entirety of this case.
?Very disappointed with today's verdict,? Dalglish said. ?This is the time when [Luis Suarez] needs our full support. Let's not let him walk alone. KD?

It doesn't matter how many black players played for him. He signed them because he thought they would do a job for the club, not because he was some ambassador for black footballers. He openly called a black person a nigger. For someone to do that they are a racist, whether they have said it once or a hundred times.

I never claimed he was an ambassador for black footballers. The point I'm making is the same as yours, in that he signed them to do the job regardless of their race. If he was racist he would not have signed them even though they were good enough.

Calling a black person a nigger does not make you racist and that's what you and many other people do not seem to understand. If your aim is to piss someone off, and you think the best way to do that is to call them a nigger and that's what you choose to do because you think it's the quickest way to piss him off it does not necessarily make you a racist, nor does it necessarily mean you dislike black people. It makes you somebody who wants to piss someone off who happens to be black and you racially abused them in order to do this. You chose the word in order to infuriate him and that may or may not be what happens.

Luther Blissett said: "If Su?rez is found guilty then you have got to look at supporters who have been found guilty of this sort of thing and people have gone to jail for it. If that is the case, you could anticipate the same sort of thing happening to him. You look at his profile, and people label sportsmen in the public eye as a role model, then it is doubly important they do something about it. If he's found guilty of this then he should be treated just like everybody else. You've got to abide by the law of the land. It doesn't matter how much money you have, the law is the law."

So Suarez is found guilty by the panel and gets a fine and 8 game ban, why not a prison sentence why not a court case against him, why aint the Police been called in like that of John Terry's case?

Im not saying i want him to go to prison but if the FA are charging him and found him guilty then surely he deserves a more serious punishment?

On another note John Terry should find out 2moz if his case will go to court. If the CPS decide to take it to court it could take up to 6-months for a decision and only then can the FA bring in their own charges after the court case is over.

We are going a bit off topic, but I disagree with you bud. If I absolutely hated a black person so much and I really, really wanted to piss him off I would not and could not call him a nigger. It goes through me having to type the word let alone say it. If a white guy is comfortable openly using the word to describe a black guy he's racist. Whether he likes it or not, whether he admits to it or not.
