Didn't need to bring him in. Use Carroll Liverpool paid enough for him and he seems to be coming around. I wish when new managers take over a team they wouldn't just buy players to make their mark on a team. They would make it with their coaching.

I said before you can't get tickets unless you pay an arm and a leg for it. Right after they announced they would be playing in Boston all the tickets were sold out. Next year I'm going to Scotland so i will go down to Liverpool and see a match. It's the only proper place to see one.

Statement regarding speculation on Swans midfielder Joe Allen

A Swansea City spokesman said: Swansea City can confirm that Liverpool have expressed an interest in Joe Allen, despite a written agreement with Liverpool not to approach any players within the 12-month period of former manager Brendan Rodgers leaving for Anfield.

There has also been interest from other clubs regarding his possible availability and the club is due to speak to Joe, as originally planned, about the situation when he returns from GB duty.

The club is not prepared to release any details on whether any formal bids have been made at this stage or details of Joe's contract, which are private and confidential. The club is extremely disappointed that speculation regarding certain aspects of his contract have been released to the media by parties outside the club.

Fortunately the club is in a financial position where it does not need to sell any of its players and will continue to work in the best interests of its supporters, who are our priority, and the club to provide new manager Michael Laudrup with the best opportunity to be successful in the forthcoming
Premier League campaign.

He has a clause in his contract where if a top club came in with a ?15 mill bid he can talk to them. Rodgers had a clause when joined LFC not to take any off his players from Swansea for 12 months.

You think Allen is worth 13.5 mil but Dempsey isn't worth 10mil. I think it's a tad to much for a 22 year old. As much as i would like to see young talent signed Liverpool needs a little more experience players who will stand up to the pressure of playing for a club like Liverpool. Rodgers should start looking to dump some dead weight from the squad before he spends all the money.

NO i don't think he is worth 13.5 mill that was the price rumored we have offered. I don't think Allen is worth more then 10 mill should be around 7 mill mark. He is a good player but not worth the price tag, there are better players then him for that price.

Dempsey signing is rumbling on because Adam doesn't want to be apart of the deal, he wants to stay and fight for his place and Fulham want to find a player to replace him before they let him go.

well duh that's what im saying it only applies to a top 4 club that's why Swansea's holding out for ?15 mill after rejecting ?10 mill plus Shelvey on loan. We wen't back in with a ?13.5 mill bid

Liverpool should say to Adam thanks and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. He's a Fulhum type of player player anyway. Liverpool shouldn't loan out Shelvey. He might not make the starting squad but would be a affective sub to come off the bench.

but,any team from fifth to the conference league can bid anything from a quid to 14.999.99p for him but can not talk to him

so what happens if say a team that finished in eigth or ninth position bid 15.000.01,could he talk to them

if the answer is no,then my first question appears valid,does it not
