    To me he is saying

Your sold when a decent bid comes in

They want best money possible, so he is in great shape raring to go we are not selling

He wants to leave and came back out of shape is not the best way to get top dollar

24M Van Persie with 1 year left Rooney got to be worth similar maybe more with 2 years left, personally if a decent bid comes in i think he will be gone, imo he is not needed

subbed and subdued last season, didnt like RVP coming in and being main man, i cant think of any games last year where rooney had a stormer was not missed when he was subbed and made no difference when he came on and i seen no stats but he gives the ball away too much to play scholes role his pasiing barring RVP volly is pretty dire

So from that we can gather they want shot but want some dosh, good riddance fatty

He's got it right on Rooney, if he wants to leave he has to put in a request. He's basically saying stop bothering me and ask Rooney himself.

he used to coach the kids he was first team now, why would he want a demotion?

Thanks for your input in building these title winning sides and european cup winners but i think you may be better with the kids, me phil neville and steve round can take it to the next level

Clever appointments by Moyes. Brings in his trusted guys, and then appoints UTD men in Giggs and Neville, keeping in touch with present, past, and hopefully future.

Rooney will be next added to David's list as the new clubs PR man

BBC Sport - Former Manchester United goalkeeper Jack Crompton dies

Former Manchester United player and coach Jack Crompton, who played a key role in helping the Reds rebuild in the aftermath of Munich, has died aged 91.

Former Manchester United goalkeeper and coach Jack Crompton has died at the age of 91, the club have confirmed.
He made 212 appearances for United and was part of the team that won the 1948 FA Cup - manager Sir Matt Busby's first trophy at Old Trafford.
Crompton was also part of the 1952 league-winning side before retiring in 1955 and taking up a coaching role.
In 1968, he was part of Busby's backroom team as United won their first European Cup at Wembley.
Ed Woodward, United's executive vice-chairman, said: "As part of Matt Busby's first trophy-winning team, Jack's place in United's history is guaranteed.
"But he gave so much more than that to the club."
Following his 11-year playing spell at Old Trafford, Crompton helped Busby with the rebuilding of the United squad in the aftermath of the 1958 Munich Air Disaster.
With the exception of a seven-day spell as Luton Town manager in 1962, Crompton remained at United until 1971 when he left to manage Barrow.
That was followed by assistant roles at Bury and Preston before he returned to Old Trafford in 1974 as reserve team boss for a seven-year spell.

UTD through and through. lasted seven days as Luton manager before he changed his mind and came back to OT!
    RIP Jack.
