please help me with my wii

Yeah, I know, I know See the thing is, when I hard modded my Wii, I used to read everywhere then that you should only use certain discs & always burn at 2x. I used 2 brands of discs back then, both the cheapest I could get my hands on locally, about ?12 for 100, & burned at maximum speed. I never, ever had a problem with them & I assumed that people were being over-cautious, & that IF you did have errors, more expensive discs & slower burning should fix it, which you would expect. So I've unfortunately kept that mentality & found that actually, even though they work on a hardmod, something about the softmod makes a difference to the way the discs are read.

Emu nand sounds obvious now I think about it with your brief explanation. Emulating the nand, I suppose giving you more nand at your disposal & safeguarding the genuine nand for you to try untested apps/hacks/betas. Could be useful to me one day. I'll bear you in mind if I decide I need it!

Ok, small problem. So far I've managed to transfer all my backups to wbfs on a 500gb external I managed to free up, & I transferred all my wbfs backups from the old converted internal IDE to the same drive. Took me a long time, but it's gonna be worth it. The problem is, they load fine in CFG Loader, but I kinda prefer USB Loader GX. But although it sees the wbfs partition & how much space is used & free, it tells me there are no games. I played with the settings but to no avail. Then I decided to reset the settings to default in case it was something I'd messed with before today, & they all showed up, so I thought all was great. But then, after turning it off & back on again a bit later, they're gone again, & factory reset doesn't sort it anymore. Any idea what could be wrong? I don't wanna be formatting & transferring all over again. Parental settings are off & the whole drive is formatted to wbfs, so it's not like they're just not visible or the wrong partition is selected or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

urgent.....!!!! i have virgin wii v. 4.2E, n i just install homebrew chanell (HBC) n its work... but suddenly when i connect my wii to internet... wii ask me to update the version to 4.3E. , n i do it... but the effect my HBC has lost... so i reinstall HBC using letterboms.. its work, but i can find the menu to install ios when i went to softmod my wii... all the menu in HBC just freeze when i load them.... what should i do now.....? help me please (my friend just told me maybe nitendo delete my ios or brick my wii).....?

The first thing you need to do is post a full sysCheck report so we can see whats on your system.

You also need to install PriiLoader 0.7 that will block onay online or disc updates.

To install anything from Homebrew you need the different programs in their own apps folder on the SD card else you will only see bubbles when you click on Homebrew. To install any wads you need something like MMM
