Please note I have modified my 4.2 hacking methods. Any Title Deleter and Trucha bug restorer are no longer used. GP DOP-IOS MOD now does the jobs of both applications in one and also makes the process much easier with less user input, so less chances of making mistakes.
Dell> You may want to change the link for the complete4_2.zip as the one you link too is now out of date and tutorial on my page will make no sense to anyone downloading the older version.
ThanksComment

Hello again!
Got my Wii today and started moding right away. Everything worked great and it reads USB HD with ease!
Read somewhere else that you should turn off the power saving mode on the HDD to prevent Wii from freeze during games. Don?t know how to do that though.
But I have a question about playing original DVD?s. When I insert a DVD shouldn?t there pop up a game icon in the Wii menu? I have to start uLoader and then choose to play DVD by pressing 2. Is that correct?
Thanks again for the great tutorial.Comment

Oh and a few more questions:
I?m unable to copy the nand.bin file to my PC, any others with the same problem, should I worry?
Do I always have to have the SD card plugged in to run games from USB device.
Which files must be on the SD card and are there files that shouldn?t be left there?Last edited by Raccoon; 15 January, 2010, 00:52.Comment

Sorry mate, updated again to include the old method as well as the new method (Method A, Method B) for those having issues with GP DOP-IOS.
For those that need help before Dell gets chance to update the OP, the details and yet again updated zip file can be found here
Also for those that would rather use DVD loading over USB loading but have newer Wii consoles, it might be worth knowing that as of uLoader 3.5 (current version is 3.6A) external USB DVD drives can be identified. I haven't tested this so cannot confirm if all external DVD drives are recognised.
I would still favour the USB drive over DVD any day, but this may be a stop gap for those who cannot afford or find a compatible external hard drive. (although the price difference is probably not that much, you can pick up an external 250GB drive for less than ?50 these days.)Last edited by adewii; 15 January, 2010, 20:51.Comment
