Some additional IOS files probably got deleted. As no original discs contain 4.2 on them yet it will just put back whatever it think's is missing, so you should be ok.

Which means that I can let the program try to do the update?

I have installed homebrew & dvdx and get menu options in homebrew.

There is a third install for bootmii on IOS - but it says The Installed boot1 version prevents a book 2 install (-2).

How should I proceed - should I try to install this? - there are no instructions on the above link regarding this insall or should I proceed to complete4_2.zip

Hello again!

My son messed around with the HBC a few days ago and obviously deleted uLoader from the apps folder on the SD card. No problem, only had to copy it back again.

But since then the pointer in uLoader has changed into a hook, how can I change it back?
I guess deleting uLoader was not the only thing he messed with.

uloader problems

Hi Fella's
just a quick question for you guys. i followed the excellent tut by ade for softmodding my 4.2e wii.all went smoothly.the only problem is that when i open up uloader i get an error message saying that cios222 and/or cios223 are needed and then it sends me back to the hbc main menu. i'm pretty sure that i done everything right with regards to deleting stub cios's and fakesigning cios 36.any help would be greatly appreciated.

you must of missed the step were you install hermes ios 222/223.look at the tut and follow that section

Mke sure you have deleted, IOS 222, 223, 249 and 250,
then make sure you install
cIOS222[38]-v4.wad
cIOS223[38+37]-v4.wad
cIOS249-v14.wad
cIOS250-v14.wad
