yes you need to delete them

i followed the guide step by step, when i run uloader in dvd mode, i get dvd read error, any help?

Been on net searching for days for a proper guide with real links, updated my firmware to 4.2e from 4.1e after finding this tutorial then read at the end of the original that this only works on the new black wii.
Is this correct,should i not of updated is there a guide that can help me?

this guide will work on all wii's,black is no different than white its just that it can't play backups from dvd-r

Thanks for the reply again...

I have gone through the tutorial & it allseems okay though I have not tried it yet as I dont have a large usb stick.

I am worried now though cos when i try to go to normal disc channel it has a wii update which then goes on to say this may render my wii inoperable when i click continue.

I havnt done yet , wot to du next please !!!!

Original discs are working through home brew & uploader??

just run the game thro ur whatever backup channel ur using instead it will skip the update. by rendering ur wii inoperable im pretty sure it just means ur softmod
