Hi Guys im totaly lost i have a wii 4.3 e, dont know if it makes a difference its the black wii and i have no idea how to start to mod it let alone finish it (bit thick) any help would be welcome on software and method thanks

there has to be a way to mod 4.3 wii's without the use of a game 4.3 has been out long enough now for this to be possible .

Accidentally update to 4.3u from 4.2u. Homebrew is still working, does that mean i don't need any of the original games to mod?

Thats ok we all have to start some where?

Nintendo have made loads of different Wii System Update releases over the years from 1.0 in 2006 to 4.3 which is the current version. If you don't know which system menu you are using start up your Wii and click on the Wii Options on the bottom left and click on Wii Settings and your version number will be shown on the top right as this video shows 3.2E.

Now the letter means the country its made for E = Europe, U = The States, K = Korea and J = Japan don't worry about those to much the numbers that mean the most. I don't think there is anything different between the colours thats purely cosmetic.

Now which ever quide you decide to use just make sure it covers the 4.3 as each system menu has different ways of doing things, there are loads of purely Wii forums out there as well?
