will a factory re-set get rid of all problems

i have avg free,spybot and satellite box loader all downloaded plus the scanner connected all without any problems so far done a small amount of surfing the net again without any problems,i've not noticed any real improvement speedwise but at least no problems,i was suprised that winrar was still installed i was expecting to have to download it again or 7zip.
