the only service tag I can find is on a little white strip on the back,but it has no 595B at the end just 7 letters/numbers

I'm affraid, but like smoggy said, assuming the -595B
the password is the one he gave you...
Are you sure there is no more numbers/letters anywhere?

I've calculated these with different endings (-595B is the norm)

this is the only other number I can give

aoc8i5s8 (2nd is o for orange)

but I suspect that the first one I gave was correct note the 5th was an i and not a 1

you could also try plugging a qwerty type keyboard in just in case your laptop one is iffy
