My laptop of D610 got the password message like this when I turn on the laptop power, I got white background and a message: This computer system, #ftthgls-595b, is protected by a password authentication system, you can not access the data on the computer without the correct password, please type in the system or administrator password and press <Enter>.

you have one too many characters in your tag
also post it in the correct case and stipulate if 5th-7th-9th are zero's

I am a Technician for EZ pawn here in Birmingham, Alabama. A customer brought in their Dell Laptop to pawn. They did not return to get it so it dropped out. It hass a Admin password on it and we can't get into it to clean out the old programs and files the Serv. Tag is: 846FRG1.......HELP!
