just something I have found in the last few day
I have unlocked a huawei E583c and a E5380

to find the unlock code in the log files keep max page in settings at 4000 on qmat or psas
also look where page setters are (blue bars up/down and accross) to see where the code is in notepad

the unlock code in screen shots of logs is 12121212

I start the program then select hardware forensics - > use mobil ports and then try to run 00 but it dont work. can it be cuz i use win 7 or is it just in the wrong menu ?

Try with Windows XP as QMAT hangs with Windows 7...

The program works, but i cant find the device in the meny... can find 3 x \\.\com-port (1,2,3) , 3x usb , and 2 other ports.. the device is a mass storage according to windos if i remeber right.

The mass storage device is the memory card slot, not the actual modem. The program is not compatible with windows 7, the drivers are not compatible. You have to run it on XP for the drivers to work correctly.

If you just want to unlock it, try Huawei Unlock by IMEI and select it as E5832s as the codes are the same.

It's not free but 100% reliable...

Please help me to unlock my E5838, i've tried the QMAT and got the last code 88009000 of the log, and entered it to the card unlocker, but it didn't work. The IMEI is 354105030011810. Could any one help me?
