Can you 'see' the modem as a CDROM?
What version of Windows?
Is Autorun set to Off on your PC?
Do you get a sound from the PC when you plug the modem in?
Do you have previous versions of the modem software on your PC?
What modem is it?

You don't give us a lot to go on!!

I suppose is PC problem, doesnt detect all USB devices. Tried now on other PC and installed the drivers and Mobile Partner.

But no sound was on plugin anyway. The modem is E5832s

OK, so I did the EFS file with Qmat.
Tried to find in blocknote and Hex program anc could not find the code. I attach it. Any help?

Corrupt ZIP file!

Your ZIP files should be around 30 in size and between 700 and 780K before being Zipped up!

Worked fine on Orange UK E5830C

Worked fine on Orange UK E5830C

Needed to have another networks sim in and E5830C showing invalid sim as otherwise i couldn't conect to it..

Then once drivers loaded and connected via usb, extracted the EFS file

Used ExtractText to list several possible numbers

Then used Notepad++ along with its Hex Editor plugin to search for each number string and looked for two sets of Hex 01 before it.

Found it was the first number in the list.

browsed to 192.168.1.1 via the wifi and entered the code in the simlock page and success unlocked at first attempt.
