welcome to dk, flash the firmware above via usb stick then do a factory reset, scan your sats in ect, connect your router and press the ok then blue button for the channels opened with the gift.regards mdt

I was stumped with the GNX file as well, but what you have to do is open it with Microsoft PowerPoint. Worked for me!

you dont need to open it just transfer to a usb stick that has preferably been formatted in the box.then transfer to box via Firmware upgrade in the system information menu.
              where did you buy box?

all you need is here but the motor/dish is best set up with a proper meter.

if its a brand new box load the patch file V1.17 1st followed by a factory reset(restore factory defaults) then load the channel list(-0124) then enter your settings latitude/longitude etc.

be aware fav4 in the channel list is XXX and not all the favorites will open for you but most on your blue button should but not all all of the time.
