Nope not deep pockets sadly so will have to do some saving and sweet talk the Mrs round (near impossible to talk her round on this one ) got to admit it does sound worth it.

What I have always heard was the price would be somewhere in between ?500-600 time will tell but and with the delay of the release and so on the price could be bumped up :/

Think the DM 8000 should be very scared.

By the looks of that website it is single tuners so could only take 3 feeds a heard awhile back that it could take 3 twin tuners :/

what the diff from the vu+ duo. which ive seen for around 316 pound s its hd los has image support .


just the reason is my friend wants a good box and i recommened the vu+ duo . just going off what people were saying ..

hes looking at spending about 400 pound what would yous recommend ...

i ask myself would i need three tuners .. thanks

any of the Vu range would be a excellent buy for him. i have a Uno and a Duo and there both fantastic receivers, image support wise they easily rival and in most cases far surpass that of DreamBox.

as for the Ultimo yes it's a very very nice receiver, although you wont get much info about it until Vu them selves are ready as all beta testers of this box are under a exceptionally water tight non disclosure agreement.

Speaking to Ruby the now about it but she is keeping very tight lipped about any release date.

I imagine with them now advertising it that the release will be soon.

Will keep questioning her see if I can find out anything more even what month it will be released.

stuck here, currently have a dm800se , great box, but really need dual tuner , thinking of buying Vu Duo from uk supplier ?309, or wait for clone but how long ? decisions decisions, how much you reckon a Vu Duo clone will cost ? also would the images need to be patched ?

been reading about the vu duo for few weeks now, images etc, seems VIX is most popular

Lombard by the sounds of things we wont see the Vu Duo clone this month. Finally just got some info from Ruby and she said that she heard that next month possible but Febuary is more realistic due to there holidays.

The price I have heard previously was ?210 including delivery from China if thats true theres only ?100 difference so really is it worth it going for the clone model?

As for patched images etc no idea mate when I first heard about these I heard reports of Ferarri sim. I have heard more so recently that there will be no sim card same as the original receiver.
