    Blade Media 7000s patched firmware 05/01/2012 81x

    here is latest blade firmware
    fixed youtube,
the default audio setting has been set to "high" (you need to reload your cdf for it to take effect)
and the adult is hidden by default, 3641 toggles it on and off from the youtube/weather screen.

it means save the channel data file list to usb stick ( cdf file)

factory reset and load the patch and factory reset again afterwards

then reload the channel data file ( the cdf ) afterwards

why do you need to factory reset twice?

the cdf or cndf is the location of the channels, favourites etc.
If you go to menu, utilities, download and press the red button it will save all your channels as when you factory reset it will get rid of them all. also make a note of any info on the 9991 menu as this will go aswel.
I don't think you have to factory reset but it is recommended.
Once you have factory reset loaded the new fw and reset again you can go back to the download section, reload your cndf file and all your channels should be back as normal.
you will just have to put back in your 9991 info again.

Yes works fine after a factory reset all audios are on 'high' this is the first time ive got Youtube working aswell.

Anyone know how to get radio working, is there an easy way of getting all the radio channels instead of having to search for them 1 by 1?

the first factory reset clears the box ready for patching

after patching , the second factory reset "locks" the patch into the box

that is the absolute failsafe scenario and should always be done if you have any problems

however , if you just load the new patches and it works without a factory reset , or if you just do one factory reset only , then as long as it works dont worry about it

but the failsafe method of before and after patching is always the one that almost guarantees no issues

a cdf is a Channel Data File ( look at the initials ) and is the channel list

therefore the list will wnd in dot c d f . ie:- .cdf

whereas the patched firmware (or original) is STB . which is dot STB

STB = Set Top Box , which is your satellite box , in your case the blade STB

so the suffix details what the file actually is , by using its initials

press GROUP and select your satellite astra2 28.2e

then press the radio/tv button to get the radio channels up

these can be moved into order using the channel edit in your menu

having just tested it I found it would say NO CHANNELS if I was in a favourite group , so had to place it on the astra2 group before activating the radio button

                            after that it worked fine

                            hope that helps
