Goto the channel BEFORE chan 1 on any group... Usually called epg or similar, press ok, or select so you are tuned to it, and wait for a couple of minutes. Your epg will now be populated.

Hi, I have updated firmware and used bladeonline and channel lists downloaded from this site, but only seem to get now and next on epg. Just cant get 7 day epg. Please can anyone advise me on what to do. I have read that I need to do a scan on a certain freq. How exactly do I do this scan please. Sorry, I am a newbie and have not much experience of this! Thanks very much in advance..

Am I correct in saying the 7-day epg will not pull program synopsis (except for freeview channels) past now and next?

yes thats right, will not show anything apart from now and next even after doing epg update on 7day epg channel

if you read previous posts you would have seen this:

To get the 7 day epg do the following:

first scan in transponder (manual scan) 11778V 27500 , and look for the channels like '8010' or 'portal video 5', they will both appear blank but will download the epg after left on either channel for a min or so.

select either channel , then press ok and do an epg update and it will download the 7 day epg for you

then select the guide and alter the epg as you wish using the coloured buttons

always select that channel to do the download , when required , as it uses it for its epg information

Yes you are correct guys
The blade is capable of downloading the 7 day epg,
But is not capable of downloading anything more than now and next program information.
Not brilliant but at least you get 7 day epg.

you can get more then now and next press guide and the green button you should get epg for the next day atleast especially on the fta channels and most of the pay ones asian channels most likely now and next

When scanning for 11778v 27500 on 28.2E no channels come up (also quality showing poor 23%), when i scan for same freq on 19.2 E portal video 5 comes up. But as i am viewing on 228.2e when i go to portal channel, it simply says no or bad signal, hence no epg working.. Thanks very much for your help....

that is because they removed the tv channels

Either download a current channel list from a satellite site, or get one from blade media via MENU/BLADE ONLINE... Then tune to an "7 day epg" chan and leave it there for 5 mins or more... If you bring up the channel list you will see it happening!

there are still radio channels on that transponder and I believe the epg signals are on those too
