the firmware from the blade website is the unpatched version with no hidden menu, u need the patched version as per this thread

Yh I did all that for the firmware but I had to keep doin a factory reset for my lines to connect everytime I turned the box off. My m8 put the older version back on for me and it wrks fine nowOriginally posted by zee24u shud factory reset with every new firmware anyway.
factory reset the box, then put the new firmware on, then factory reset again to lock the firmware, then put ur line in and u shud be good to go.Comment

Hi guys - Ive got the same problem - cant access 9991 - (its my 1st sat box - bought fully clined but cant get hold of my supplier) its got 2010 software on which I want to update, but I believe I need to make a note of the cline details before I upgrade the software or they will be lost ?.

Your guess is as good as mine. A few posts back, it was suggested that this new feature could be access to a server where you could stream movies from (or something along the lines of that). However, given the highly questionable legality of such a service (especially at this point in time), I doubt this is what the "cool feature" will be.
Perhaps it will be something similar in nature to when the 7 day epg was introduced.Comment

As far as I'm aware, the only streaming to the Blade that you can do is limited to avi (?) using Blade Stream. You can't stream Sopcast content on to the Blade.
However, if you have a PS3 (or an Xbox) you may want to research streaming Sopcast on to that using PS3MediaServer (or something like that). It may work but it may not.Comment

I have now accessed the 9991 menu but cant get details of my cline - its showing connections 0 and 1 connected but when I click on them, it asks for a password which I dont have (and my suppliers telephone number is no longer in use) - Ive tried 0000, 9991, 1234, 9999, etc, but no luck.Comment
