This post is not aimed at anyone my theory on it is wait and see, we got a lot of members who have put there two penneth worth into this debate the point is we will lose sly and in the immediate future nothing will stop that from happening
I personally come to this site to get info and help me with my own personal Sat problems and personally i am sick and tired of all the whinging and contradicting posts that go on about this topic My point being umtil it happens to you dont worry about it.

I am also concerned that although this is a friendly place to go we do not know many if any of our members personally and cannot tell if they are actuallly employers of Sly uk stirring the proverbial s**t and we are providing them with all the information they need and anyway is sly actually that good come on its the biggest load of crap on the planet and there are better viewing opportunities out there

Would this work in order to try preserve my card in debian.

I use my multiroom card now as lost my mainbox with couple family members on and we all chipped in. if i were to call sly and ask them to pair my MR card with an old sly plus box i have so i can record, would they do this?
or even if they did.. if i asked they pair card from my main box, the one which has now had update and doesnt clear in Oscam.. if they paired this would this now clear again or is that particular card now a goner?

no one knows and you will have lost your money if you use cardshare with the big pay serves

its not big pay server my provider is telling me it will take a year at least for sky to issue boxes and for now he can cope with it all? he say he got overseas cards what sly havent hit

They dont need to issue new boxes to enable the security measures, most boxes are fine only some older boxes will need to be swapped out.

These security measures are in the receivers firmware, once a card misses it's update ( either accidentally or intentionally ), the only way to get it back on is to get the provider to re-pair it to a official receiver, this is where things get interesting as a new firmware is needed to pair the card and this is whats stopping it working in third party receivers. so dont believe a thing your server tells you as he's just after your money.
