This is the full flashing tutorial for the original xp1000 receivers.

p.s while this tutorial is a ViX tutorial ViX do not offer any support for the icloud2 box.

I read your posts. You said it came with openpli 4.0 which you didn't back up. You then said you had tried openpli 3.0. So I presume you've tried openpli 4.0 as well then? If so it doesn't look good if you are having to rely on the seller to patch openpli builds.

I think it would be prudent for one of the members on here if they own this receiver to firstly find out the Build of the current loaded OpenPLI 4.0 image from the information page and secondly to download one of the backup plugins from the download servers and do a full backup of the image as is.

Then at least some of you can go back and re-load original OpenPLI 4.0 in case you encounter any problems as we are all witnessing at this present time

spot on, i should have made a backup before trying to flash, she did say will send me link to openpli 4.0 tomorrow and new vix 3.0 build, even the oldest openpli 4.0 don't work, so makes me believe they are patching them

maybe some of you are not aware as these are based on the xp1000 but you can buy the original unit for ?129 in the uk ( ?124 in places ) with free shipping and full warranty and no messing with clone patched images.

They have to be, the originals contain a security board for this very reason.
