I think it would be prudent for one of the members on here if they own this receiver to firstly find out the Build of the current loaded OpenPLI 4.0 image from the information page and secondly to download one of the backup plugins from the download servers and do a full backup of the image as is.

Then at least some of you can go back and re-load original OpenPLI 4.0 in case you encounter any problems as we are all witnessing at this present time

Messing about with a mates box the now, he wiped the image trying to install vix, cant say im overly impressed with the build quality.

Installed VIX but done the online update and it wiped it.

doesnt look great, even with bad flash, still get led on front and get bootscreen, try another adapter ? its 3amp output

Just tried wiggling the end off adapter seems its a loose connection

that would be great, i should have done it before starting to play with it, just have left box to the side now, and wait for openpli 4.0, aint impressed with this box, firstly i dont think its 600mhz as advertised , its 501mhz i think, also what memory RAM ? Flash ? actually inside these ? even if as advertised, wont the images need modifying to get that space ? ,

this one works vix 3.0 build 600 , which is the only one i got up and running , after trying other images and not booting up, aint gonna bother adding plugins etc as its old build, rather have openpli 4.0

Ive got the vix image going, epg and picons in the flash, seems ok.

Takes rats updaters ok, Ondemand, but wont install tsmedia, * check_data_file_clashes: Package tsmedia etc etc... wants to install file /usr/lib/librtmp.so.0, but that file is already provided by package * librtmp0.

Other than that, fairly straight forward.

A think I've knacked mine tried to do an update and box stuck on two red lights one on left is highlighted blue. I did manage to get channel lists downloaded before but could get a picture

aint bothered setting that up, waste of time i think, rather wait for newer build or stick on openpli 4.0 just waiting for that, vu solo clone is better then this
