guys I need you help. 3 days ago I've bought 5 cloud ibox 2... they come with OpenPli image, I updated it and added some plugins, picons... after that I made my backup and copied to all receivers (WITHOUT DOING THE BACKUP OF THE ORIGINAL IMAGE).
Now I'm not able to see HDMI anymore... I've tried Open Vix linked previously like OpenPli 4.0 by Lombard. The best resolution I get is 576... in 720 and 1080 the image is distorted or the screen is totally black.
At the beginning the first OpenPli image didn't give me any problems with hdmi connection. I have all my cloudibox2 like this now, where is the problem and how can I recover the HDMI view?

thinking of getting one of these box's just a quick question, how are they at playing movies over a network for example a 1080 mkv ? or would I be better looking at a more powerful box

Could be people have tried to claim there money back thur paypal with item not sold as described and they not accepting paypal anymore.

if it doesnt work, then probably something wrong with box , as i know image works 100%

i have been running this box with image openpli 4.0 for 2 days now no issues at all with epg, channel logos all on internal flash, i would say its better then the ibox 1 , doesnt heat up at all, slightly faster, and more memory 256mb flash / 512mb ram, no idea why they advertise 2gb flash / 4gb ram, for the price probably couldnt really expect that

only thing i dont like is the blurry info bar you get when first select channel, or gets quite alot if have picons to show on channel list

I have the original image at home I will send you it pm me your email and i will send it tonight. To be honest I think you might have faulty receivers as I bet there is no heatsink or card readers inside. The fact that they worked for a little bit of time is the same problems I had and I opened up to find no reader and heatsink and getting extremely hot at which point screen went blank.

On the point of suppliers not taking PayPal its purely because people can't dispute goods and get a refund I would avoid any other route other than PayPal as these suppliers are supplying poor quality boxes.

VIX image for Cloud Ibox 2 HERE!

Here you go lads, i bought 10 of these Cloud Ibox 2 stb's, flashed VIX on to them, set them up with a 1tb external drive attached & used vix backup manager & popped that onto the next 9 after, every 1 worked absolutely perfect & never faltered whatsoever, really impressed right now with these.

I then threw on RATS DW Channel updater & OnDemand Plgin and both were great too.

you're not going to get al jazeera on this unless you are multi-sat setup mate, all the rest of the channels come as standard on a sly package through your standard sly dish pointing at 28.2e astra 2, contact me privately if you need some info and guidance.
