I am having the same issues as Lombard, where I'll be watching and it randomly goes blank and the blue led remains on.

what amp output is your PSU adapter, im trying different psu mine came with 3amp , im trying a different 3amp now will see if same happens , also like to get a 2amp one to try, mine usually happens when downloading epg mostly, just need to test longer and hope its PSU

The one I was supplied was a 3amp one. I've noticed my box going blank during browsing of epg and even I was just watching TV it randomly went blank.

Tested the openvix image posted by ps2gamer. Kept crashing for me based on what I wanted to install which is simply the following:

                Cacheflush
                MyMetrix Skin
                Shd picons
                Crossepg

Back on lombards openpli but I'm still having that epg issue. Turned the box on this morning and epg was empty again. I've already installed epgcache and told it to save to flash. I've noticed though that epgcache points to a crossepg folder for epg.dat but I don't use crossepg. Is this an important factor?

no need to install cacheflush, no need to install crossepg, vix is probably the only image with epg features already built in

It's whenever I go in plugins it tends to hang and then enigma crashes. There was some sort of memory leak happening somewhere because I have 60% free on openpli but on openvix I had like 7%. I'll try it again soon I just didn't have the time to mess about with it last time.

Thanks I appreciate you uploading a backup.

Nothing if your using a Vu+ Duo with obvious signs of the infamous memory leak, but for every other receiver it works the opposite, ie it creates instabilities.
