You need a very fine tip solder iron, a magnifying glass, solder wire, flux and a pair of tweezers. Oh and a cold beer to calm the nerves....

Would it be possible to snip the said resisistor in the middle to break the flow then solder the new resistor on top of the old one.

it looks like they are just soldered at each end all you need to do is heat one end and hold it with small pliers and it will lift of then do the same with the other side if your eyes are like mine you will need a magnifying glass

Got mine a fee days ago. Looks good image pre-in-installed. I have a major tuner problem. The tunrr st bavk of box is loose and is not picking up any channels. Tried my solo2 with the same wiring with the same LNB. All channels where fine. So the tuner is very slack and wont pick up anything. Opened the box & the tuner looked very open and unstable. I will try & post some pics. Could someone please post a pic of there tuner from inside the box. I think there's a bit missing from the inside of the tuner. Anybody with similar problems would be a great help. Thanks Eddie
