I've never used it, as it only flash's a base image from openatv's github, bit of a backwards move as you would then need to install everything post flash including settings.

Not if you backup settings first. It offers this option when you choose to upgrade. Not sure about your skin as it's not in the download section. Everything else will download again BUT crossepg configuration needs to be redone don't know why . The settings backup also includes that which can't be named.

Na, neither Kiddac's or Chababu's skins are in the Github and these skins seem very popular so that could cause issues

BUT crossepg configuration needs to be redone don't know why

I guess it would install Crossepg 0.8.1 which again has issue with openatv

On another note, have you tried the new vix4e2project image that lincsat has made reference to in this post, read on another forum it fully supports the Zgemma H series and has Crossepg 0.8.1 compatibility

Not keen on vix. Not enough settings for me to get it how I like it. Better than it used to be but still not to my taste

thanke martin for the h2s details i have download it with your skin but have lost all slky channels when i open the box i have a blank screen then when i hit epg i get all channel info but no slky i have mgcam 1.38r1 tuner set to northern ireland everything is fine only for no sky

Hi Martin, just to say thanks for a great write up, been using a v8s box for 18 months and decided to get a zgemma box...
followed your write up...... to the letter..... and bingo, up and running no problems !!!
followed everything and went seamlessly, just had to google how to make a cfg file
well pleased mate....... well done

Software Update: Movie Organiser plugin updated, Bouquets Picons add, Sky Q skin modded to place Picons where the 'Q' was

• Bouquet Picons added for all default bouquets

Yes it will work on any of the Zgemma H series models H.S - H.2S - H.2H

you will of course have to configure tuner 2 to either cable or freeview for which ever you use
