My open box s10 from China is dead .... I want revive it

I have a console cable( one DB9 and the other end RJ 45) can I use it to revive my dead open box S10

I am in Ghana and I wish I could pay the guy who put up this tutorial for his service. I have revived a dead clone open box S10 and another open box s10 that the electronics repairer said was not useable and condemned with this software thanks for opening my eyes and the wisdom imparted into me. As long as it's just a corrupt or blank flash,the receiver can be fixed.I kill my receiver daily with oddball firmware and then revive it.

i get the skybox f3 to scan but it crashes after getting to 34% im using USB connected aswell

openbox x3 on loop

I have an openbox x3 stuck on load wot I mean is it rolls the L numbers at power on gets to L100 then goes back to the begining ..
I was putting the latest firmwear on box but did a factory reset first,but it finished up going into this load-up loop
I have downloaded all the files for openbox X3 and F3 skybox (eeprom _upgrade..ect )but cannot get my X3 to flash ....has anyone had an X3 with this problem and got it back on its feet .or is there a tut or magic file out there Ive missed
I have spent days trying to flash this box
its one week old

Openbox s11 being a w*#nker

Hi,

I've got an openbox s11, it will switch on, boot to the screen with all the channels listed, but is saying no signal. I know the dish is ok, the sat cable is ok as i've tried my other openbox s11 from upstairs on it, but on the problem s11, when i try to rescan for channels it locks up, throws an hissy fit and reboots.

So i've decided to pluck up the courage and have a go at reloading firmware and image. would be grateful if peeps could point me to the right firmware and best stable image.

Got an null modem cable, got a usb thumbdrive, just need the will, hope and luck, .
