Had my SD Sky+ box upgraded last month by sly to a new HD. Lost nat geo etc and Polsat HD is dead for me. Just don't want my Duo2 rendered useless if this all goes tits up but oh well.

best thing to do is record all the crap now
then when it all goes off
you wont miss the same stuff there still showing
as you have it all recorded
then you can watch the repeats as much as you like when you like

so glad I upgraded to a Linux box now at least I got iptv though plugins and plex, with sd channels all still good and hey its been a good run though tempted with getting a motor.....

Do it! You wouldn't believe the amount of programs available in english on other sats and the camel racing on 26e is always good for a laugh.

Thinking of doing the same myself currently have two sky dishes on the side of the house one for 28 other for 13. Only thing I am interested in is getting the football as I have plex for everything else. If there is no workaround for having a sly sub on my vu+ i am cancelling my sly sub altogether. Would rather do without it than paying 60 quid a month and having to use their useless box.

Duo2 will never be rendered useless. You have the same option I have with my uno which is to stick a plug and play cable tuner in it difference is you can leave your sat tuners in, I can't

Ah that's a bugger but at least it will still be sellable. Thing is though even on my 5 sat fixed dish there is way more out there than sly. So you always have the option of that or a motor as previously mentioned

Thing will go for the motor. Do it more as a hobby and I find it relaxing tinkering with my satellite system . Although hopefully its not the end but due to the greedy pay servers just gives me the excuse to explore my avenues with my hobby.

Don't think you will be losing SD in a hurry but who knows but I cant see a fix anytime soon.

from reports i see to-day, *** Atlantic HD channel is now blocked i had thought we would just find the lot gone in one go, but it looks like they are just picking channels off one at a time.
i hav'nt re-scanned to see if this is just a frequency change
