as is their rite, clones are dangerous, poorly made and a false economy. ( just my personal opinion ).

flash it with the patched 2.0.6 image from the ferrari team it works good just format your usb stick in fat32 put the vuplus folder on your stick switch your box on your blue light will go sort of pinky blue then it will go to red and then flashing blue switch of your box remove usb then restart your box takes a wee while to do but it is a good image i prefer blackhole myself compared to all the other images

Thanks all went will love the image and this little box seems to run great. One question my fans a little loud, any recommendations on a replacement?

Thanks mate, i received mine today. This is a picture of the one ive received.

Do i still have to worry about this over heating? i dont want to switch it off everytime im not using it.

Also i have to say they have quite a high price tag for a build quality like this. The alien 8900 seems to be a better quality and is housed in a metal chassis rather than plastic.

Never seen a sat box housed in plastic before.

Edit got mine plugged in just out of the box in my office and the heatsink under the fan is already to hot to the touch after about a hour and its not even doing anything!

Serious doubts about this box!? already!

don`t worry about the heat as long as the fan is working it will keep the box within tolerances they do get a wee bit hot but nothing serious i have ben running my cloud ibox 24/7 for the last 4 months without a single problem it is a good wee box for the money

although the components are branded samsung and toshiba on board the pcb but they could be faked as well i guess!

Hi m8 i run the latest Vix image on mine and use a 1gb usb pen for cross epg , picons ect and the usb for the swap file , they are not a bad box i run my 1s upside to let the heat escape better and i swapped the fan for a silent fractual 1 .. though considering i purchased mine for abt ?45 each id say your owed something back from your surplier

i had one of the mini solo , with fan attached, ending up getting a better bigger fan, i have it up the normal way and runs fine, i have had openpl 3.0 running with all plugins, picons, epg for few months no issues at all, though vix 3.0 seems to crash slow down after 1-2 days, but openpli 3.0 had running for months no issues, i am looking forward to the ibox 2 , as its metal , 600mhz 1gb flash, 1gb ram, thing should fly

WEll i paid ?85 for my amiko box in december last year. On ebay most sellers are selling these boxes for over ?100 so i thought it was fair.

To be honest would you expect a ebay seller to honor a years warranty with no questions asked anyhow?

where do you get all the plug ins from? there are so many options its a bit daunting at the moment!

So far ive got it all going on FTA channels but im unsure what cam to use? or where to download it from?

Downloaded ccam 2.1.3 and got the encrypted channels working now as well

But my ecm time says -nan??? i have no idea what that means??

Loving it now even though it is plastic.

Mine is uber responsive, fast in every way. Picture quality looks better than my dm800 and alien 8900...

Should i save cross epg and picons to the usb or internall now?
