Hello same in here. i have followed all instructions but i still cant get it to work ,i have installed the phantom patch as well as the addon but still cant get the c-line to connect it still says disconnected. I can watch youtube, maps in. radio. but not connected to the cline. the one which i have is fine, i tested. always showing disconnected. Any help please?????

we cannot discuss that side of it but the tm5402hd isnt the box for it anyway,regards mdt

Sorry didnt know that cant disscus it, but why you think that this rec. is not for it. As previous comments were all about this. Just need to know why its showing disconnected.

the TM5402HD is a closed source receiver and as such can only act as a client box, you state in your post that you have a czech skylink card which you should be able to use in the card reader as once patched the card reader becomes multicrypt what you cannot do with this receiver is send your card data out to other receivers.

well all i can say is the Guide on this very thread on page 1 is still valid to this day and nothing has changed with the 5402 in all that time so i would put this down to either User Error or the data you have in the 8281 config is no good

I have tm5402 on some server. How do I extract cline from the box so that I can go back and install it if something goes wrong? Also I found three different software, tm5402hdci_117 orig, phantompatch and addon, in which order I should install them?]

just bought a 90cm dish, motor and technomate 5402, all up and running now, worried about patching etc....but with support and sincere thanks to everyone on here, im going in!!
